Christmas Tree Recycling The Parks and Recreation Department is accepting Christmas trees to be recycled from December 26, 2011 to January 16, 2012. The area below the Louise Hays Park entrance will again be used for tree drop off. There is no cost associated with this recycling program.

Christmas trees should be free of ornaments, lights, hangers, icicles, strings and any other glass, metal or plastic.

RETAILERS: WE WILL ACCEPT YOUR TREES THAT WERE NOT SOLD; HOWEVER, PLEASE ASSURE THAT ALL ROPES, TWINES AND PLASTIC NETTING ARE REMOVED BEFORE DELIVERY TO THE PARK.
